I’ve championed access to diverse educational options, helping families unlock every child’s full potential while challenging the limiting labels that perpetuate stereotypes and cap our children’s future. I’ve worked to strengthen both small businesses and nonprofit organizations, making them more competitive, resilient, and sustainable. My commitment has extended to addressing the real-life planning needs of women and men in underserved communities and raising awareness about the challenges of youth pregnancy and parenting. Through every effort, I’ve stayed rooted in results, responsibility, and respect—because real change starts when we invest in people, not just programs.

As a mom who went from teen parent to founder, and from small business owner to nonprofit educator, I bring both education and a lifetime of personal and professional experience. I am deeply committed to responsible spending, sound money and resource management, and transparent leadership. As the founder of a public entity, I understand that service comes with accountability—a duty to honor my purpose and to care for the people and communities I represent.

My focus is on policies that empower families to thrive, safeguard children, and provide parents, businesses, and communities with the tools they need to guide the next generation with confidence and purpose.

I am committed to expanding opportunity and removing barriers to work, entrepreneurship, and financial independence for young people and young parents determined to build better futures. My approach brings together business leaders, organizations, and community partners to uplift our neighborhoods collaboratively. Ohio's 1st Congressional District is home to approximately 11,960 small employer businesses, employing over 163,000 individuals. These businesses form the backbone of our economy and the foundation of strong communities. We must invest in these small businesses to keep our state thriving, create jobs, and drive local prosperity.

I also believe we can reduce gentrification by empowering residents to invest in, enrich, and lead their own communities—with the right guidance, access to resources, and a shared commitment to fiscal responsibility. By leaning on our nonprofits and faith-based organizations—especially those receiving federal funding—to help shoulder the responsibility of supporting families in need, we can ease government oversight, reduce costs, and ensure help comes from trusted local partners who know their communities best. When we equip people with the tools to succeed where they live, we create lasting change that strengthens families, preserves the culture and character of our neighborhoods, and builds a more resilient future for everyone.
